Buying Local: North Adams Winter Farmers Market Opens for the Season

North Adams held its first indoor winter farmers market of the season on a Saturday in early November, drawing vendors and shoppers looking to stock up on fall produce, baked goods and more. Red Shirt Farm’s booth was laden with fall vegetables, including sweet potatoes, purple maple potatoes, carrots, green tomatoes and late-season tomatoes.
